Is there a minimum age requirement? Yes, we require guests entering the game truck to be 6 years of age or older. We have no doubt of the advancement of your little ones but we want to make sure everything stays presentable and functional for our next guests entering the Lab. If they are younger than 6 years of age. THEY CANNOT ENTER!

 

Do you allow the guests to eat in the trailer? No, with all this amazing state of the art equipment on the trailer, food and drinks may cause some issues. Feel free to dine outside the Lab. There will be hand-sanitizer available before entering.

 

Do you drive around with the kids in the trailer? No, safety is a priority and we are aware of known potholes. We don't want any equipment falling on any of our guests, so we stay stationary!

What systems do you offer? We have 3 PlayStation 5, 3 Xbox Series X, and 5 Nintendo Switch with 100s of games to choose from. 

 

Is the trailer heated/AC? Yes of course, we want guests of the Lab to be comfortable as well as our equipment maintained so temperature matters!

Is there internet in the trailer? We have a T-Mobile Internet Connection that works well depending on your area. We also have a 300 foot Ethernet cable that can travel from the trailer to your home in order to give a signal from your internet. We try to accommodate people the best we can. Every game does not require Internet. The most popular games that do are Fortnite, Roblox, Call of Duty Warzone, and Apex Legends.

How many guests can fit in the trailer? up to 20 guests, depending on their size. However, don't forget the two 50-inch T.V.’s on the outside is an option to be added to the fun (weather permitting)

 

How many guests can play at one time? Up to 20 guests can game at one time, 28 if weather permits. There are 4 guests to each T.V.

 

Can we bring our own games onto the trailer? OF COURSE YOU CAN! Make the experience yours. If you or others have a favorite game you want to bring into the Lab, DO IT! Sometimes our game coaches leave some of their personal favorites behind!

 

What type of games are offered? We have various popular multiplayer games. We can consult with you prior to the event to make sure we only provide the type of games you are comfortable with or a certain game that you would like available for the consoles we provide. There will never be under any circumstance a game available to your children or guests that you are not comfortable with them playing. We want this opportunity to serve you as more than a business. We want to create a positive memory for you and your guests.


 

Why don't you offer cakes or pizza for events? As in every business, the cost of additional items always rolls into the final price for the client. We chose to keep it simple and low cost. As for the subject of food, looking for a pizza provider that can accommodate our parking while picking up a pizza would only delay our arrival and once again, the price would be rolled into the cost of your event. We provide entertainment and could not guarantee the quality or freshness of food provided via a 3rd source provider.

 

Is there a deposit fee to reserve? If so, how much? We require a $100.00 deposit at the time of booking to hold your event date/time. The event must be paid in full 14 days prior to your reserved day. If the party needs to be canceled, we will refund 100% of your deposit as long as it is prior to 14 calendar days before your event. If the cancellation happens less than 14 days prior to the scheduled event, your deposit will be forfeited. If you paid in full and cancel after 14 days we will refund the rest to the account you used to make the deposit AND ONLY THAT ACCOUNT. If the balance is not paid in full 14 days prior to your scheduled event, you forfeit your $100 deposit and your scheduled booking will be canceled. You would, however, be able to re-book and start the process fresh. Cancellations must be made by email using the official Round One Gaming Lab email account info@round1gaming.com

How do you reserve an event? Simply by clicking "BOOK NOW" anywhere on this website. You fill out a form and we will see if we have availability. After confirming, we will gladly email an invoice which contains a "PAY NOW" button. Our payment system is administered by Wix  so your payment information is safe. During the booking process please let us know if you want to pay in full or pay just the security deposit for your event. We take Mastercard, Visa, Discover, and American Express. PayPal and CashApp options are also available. You will receive a receipt email immediately. We do not accept cash or checks due to the nature of time-sensitive reservations.

 

How old do you need to be to reserve a party? You must be 18 years or older to reserve an event. If we arrive for a scheduled party and a responsible adult over 18 is not present, we do reserve the right to end the event and retain all fees paid, so please make sure when we arrive someone 18 years of age or older is available.

How do you cancel an event? If the party needs to be canceled, we will refund 100% of your deposit as long as it is prior to 14 calendar days before your event. How do you reschedule an event? We know that sometimes life happens. In the event you need to reschedule. You can choose any day within 60 days from the date of your event to reschedule. AS LONG AS THAT DAY IS AVAILABLE. You may only reschedule one time. We MUST have that date and time available for you to book. 

 

EXAMPLE: Your event is June 22nd, 2022. You can choose a date and time between June 22nd and August 22nd. We will not go past the 60th day for a reschedule.

What if there is terrible weather on the day of our event? Being in the Midwest, weather is something out of our control. Our Trailer is stocked with A/C and heat and we can get through most weather such as rain and snow storms. If the weather is to the point where we have to pull over for safety, we will give you a call to let you know our estimated time of arrival. If an event must be canceled due to weather when will give you a call and offer a reschedule or full refund.

What if the trailer runs into issues on the way to our event or you breakdown? If an event must be canceled due to a breakdown (WHICH IS OFTEN OUT OF OUR CONTROL)  we will give you a call and offer a reschedule or full refund.

 

Can I just drop off my kids and leave? As much as we love children and all your guests. You must have an adult (18 years or older) present at all times. Children under 5 years old are not allowed in The Lab to play. If they are in The Lab to spectate they must be accompanied by an adult 18 years of age or older.

 

Vendor rights upon arrival? We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone. If at any time we feel that our employees are in any danger or being mistreated, or that our equipment is being mishandled; we will shut down the event and all funds paid will be FORFEITED.
